Who We Are
Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center (TSCAC) serves as a multidisciplinary arts organization that is dedicated to expanding the cultural and creative opportunities for Ponchatoula and its surrounding area.
We want to offer programming that celebrates local artists and provides them a window to the larger art world. TSCAC creates artistic connections and learning, while enhancing the lives of residents and tourists alike. We want all of the artists in our area to feel like true members of our community. Visual artists, dancers, writers, musicians, actors from all backgrounds can come together here and share their love of art!
TSCAC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and all funds raised go toward operating expenses. Support for the center is provided by earned income, member donations, business donations, private foundations and government funding.
Where We Started
Seeing a need to bring a space for creative artists to perform and exhibit their unique works in Ponchatoula, local businessman Harry J. Gabriel decided to create an art center built out of two historic churches whose beauty had been lost to time. Harry and a core grassroots committee put together this nonprofit venue for all of the art disciplines that is centered around the artists we serve.
